Here’s a little info about me and why I started this site. My name’s Aaron Eden and I’ve been climbing for 17 years, although, I’ve been “evolving movement” for a lot longer than that. I was a competitive swimmer from the age of 6 and have participated in a multitude of other sports throughout my life.
I started climbing when I was eighteen and it only took one climb to get hooked. After that, I dove in head first into the climbing world, devouring as much information as I could. It wasn’t long before I started route setting and learning how getting the body to move efficiently and fluidly could make climbing a lot easier. Since then, I’ve been devoting my efforts to learning movement, how to move effortlessly and how to force movement on the wall (route setting).
I currently live in Burlington, Ontario with my beautiful wife, Leah and two dogs. I practice my craft full time at Climbers Rock (in my mind, one of the best gyms in Canada) and am also a certified personal trainer. Some of the competitions I’ve set for include Youth Regionals and the Canadian Bouldering Nationals.
